Departure

I am bidding goodbye,
To the epitome of my soul;
My memories try to tie,
And boggle me down in the hole.

It is time,
To stop the flowing emotions roar;
I order myself to mime,
And stop being a 'bore'.

I am what I am,
Because of what you have made me;
Here's wishing you loads of wham,
And hoping that you will never forget thee.

    I read the poem 17 times. I guess it explains everything. Serene rendition. Anyways, departure is always painful. So, don't worry.

  19. 'Departure' brings out the melancholy of life.
    The poet has expressed it with such dignified grace. Cheers.
